Dr. R. Madhukar Reddy is the current Professor and Head, Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at SVS Institute of Dental Sciences, Mahabubnagar. He is a staunch clinician and an insightful academician who propagates Evidence based Orthodontics. He is an Invisalign provider and underwent certification programme in 2020. Dr. Madhukar Reddy completed his BDS in 2003 from the prestigious Government Dental College & Hospital, Vijayawada and MDS in 2008 from A.M.E.’S Dental College & Hospital, Raichur. He was recognized with the esteemed ‘Diplomate of Indian Board of Orthodontics’ in 2014. He is an epitome of perseverance and is currently pursuing his PhD from Pacific University, Rajasthan.

Dr. Madhukar Reddy is undoubtedly a teacher par excellence who makes sure that students are up to date with the current happenings in the field and encourages them to actively take part in research. He trains both undergraduates and post graduate students in their clinical work and dissertations. He published 27 articles of national and international reach. He has been an undergraduate and post graduate examiner for various universities and played a key role as Institutional ethical committee member.
