Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.)
SVS Institute of Dental Sciences offers the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program with an approved intake of 100 seats. The undergraduate dental training program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in dental sciences, clinical skills, patient care, and professional ethics. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to the BDS course must have passed the Intermediate / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Zoology, and English as prescribed subjects. The candidate must have secured the minimum qualifying marks as per the prevailing norms of the competent authority and must have qualified in the NEET examination. Admissions are made based on merit and the counselling process conducted by the authorized admission authority.
Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.)
SVS Institute of Dental Sciences offers postgraduate dental education in 8 specialties under the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) program. Eligibility Criteria
A candidate seeking admission to the MDS course must possess a BDS degree awarded by an Indian university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI). The candidate must also have completed the compulsory rotatory internship on or before the date prescribed by the competent admission authority for the relevant academic year.
Criteria for Selection
Admissions to the MDS course are made on the basis of merit obtained in the competitive entrance examination conducted by the Central Government / State Government / Universities / Competent Authorities, followed by the counselling and admission process as per the applicable regulations in force.
